Although wearing fake copies of Dolce & Gabbana boots never killed anyone imitation prescription drugs can cause tragic, preventable deaths. Yes, its so true about the knock-off "anything"...but I didnt know that there were knock-off drugs, because I always thought that all drugs had to go through a certian procedure no matter what. But I learned something new today, that there are, counterfeit drugs!!
ReplyDeleteA lot of people might think that and this is why we wanted to debunk any false sense of safety when taking prescription drugs, especially from outside the US. Drugs from everywhere are able to infiltrate our drug sdistiribution channels. Now, I'm not saying that you should be afraid of all drugs, but make yourself aware of the fact that it's out there. It's true that the FDA does follow strict procedures for approving new drugs, but sometimes people will give you another drug under the name of an approved drug. The best way to be safe is to know what to look for.

ReplyDeleteIt was a good comparison about knock-off shoes/hand bags versus prescription. When I think of counterfeit drugs, I would assume sugar pills or placebos. This brought it to my attention how counterfeit prescription can be made up of anything and it and dangerous affect someone’s life.
